We specialize in helping homeowners grow fruit trees and berries by providing expert help with pruning, grafting, pest and disease management, planting and design.

Whether you want to learn how to care for your backyard orchard yourself, use our year-round organic management services, or just have access to expert advice, we help you install, maintain and repair fruit-bearing trees and shrubs for maximum health, yield, and environmental conscientiousness.

Rates

Teaching and Consulting:  One on one training, or consulting with Jessie. She will teach you to organically care for and maintain your fruit crops on your own. Includes all aspects of year-round seasonal care. Consultations are typically an hour for 1-5 trees. $150/per hour (1 hour minimum)

Alternatively we are now offering more affordable one-on-one teaching sessions at our urban farm in NE Portland for $60 an hour. Please send an email to oracleorchard@gmail.com or visit our website www.oracleorchard.com to get in touch.

Maintenance: Following an initial consultation, we will provide a thorough list of seasonal recommendations specific to your site, varieties, and fruit/tree size and conditions. We can then provide an estimate for these services if you would like our help maintaining your trees.

Free Estimates: Email us a photo of your trees for a free estimate. Please include a person or garbage bin near the trunk for perspective. Trees must be under 12ft tall. Street trees surrounded by concrete must be under 10ft.

You can Lower costs by doing some of the labor. For example: sourcing and picking up your own plants, amendments, etc from the nursery (see blog post on recommended fruit varieties for Portland), or disposing of the clippings in your green waste bin after we are gone.

Travel time fee: We will be charging a fee for travel outside the city limits to cover some of the added transit time and fuel costs. The fee is $25-75 depending on location.
